Economic/Social Justice

Indspire received our donation for the 2018 tax year.

Indspire is a national Indigenous registered charity that invests in the education of Indigenous people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada. Their vision is to enrich Canada through Indigenous education and by inspiring achievement. In partnership with Indigenous, private and public sector stakeholders, Indspire educates, connects and invests in Indigenous people so they will achieve their highest potential.

Our mission is to maintain personal contact and financially assist women in South Africa who are caring for AIDS-orphaned grandchildren.

AMMA Canada: ammacanada.ca
The inspiration behind Amma Canada, Amma is well known for her humanitarian works by world organizations such as the United Nations. Amma Canada was registered as a charitable organization in 2003. Prior to incorporation as a charity, volunteers from the Greater Toronto area used to collect clothing, non perishable food items and household appliances and donate them to established charities such as Covenant House, Jean Tweed Centre, St.Felix Centre, Interim Place, Red Door Shelter,..etc.

 

Environment and Biodiversity

FarmFolk CityFolk received our donation for the 2018 tax year.

FarmFolk CityFolk (FFCF) is a not-for-profit society connecting, empowering, and inspiring people to strengthen BC’s sustainable food systems. They develop, operate, and act as a catalyst for projects that support access to and production of local, sustainable food; support local growers and producers; provide access to and protection of farmland; and connect, educate, and celebrate with communities across BC.

Ecosource is an Ontario-based environmental education non-profit serving youth, adults, and families. Our work began in Mississauga and has expanded throughout the Region of Peel and beyond. Their Mission is To inspire and empower the community to become more environmentally responsible through creative public education.

The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. We do this by helping end the killing in America’s animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across the nation. We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.

 

World Poverty and Human Rights

El Shaddai Child Rescue received our donation for the 2018 tax year.

Their mission is to help the most marginalized and hard-to-reach children around the world. For 100 years, they have often been the first on the ground to respond to the needs of children in crisis, and the last to leave. Our innovative and collaborative programs tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues for children.

International Committee of the Red Cross: www.icrc.org
The ICRC responds quickly and efficiently to help people affected by armed conflict. We also respond to disasters in conflict zones, because the effects of a disaster are compounded if a country is already at war. Emergencies are unpredictable, so our rapid deployment capability is hugely important.

The El Shaddai Charitable Trust is a registered, non-profit Charity working in Goa and other States of India, implementing the Child Rights and Juvenile Justice for orphans, street children and children coming from economically underprivileged conditions. Children are cared and provided with food, clothing, shelter and education, for a better future.
