Welcome to the Keystone Foundation for Living Independently

The Keystone Foundation for Living Independently exists to provide more than the necessary independent living housing and resources to people living with disabilities in Toronto, Ontario. Our goal is to empower adults, living with disabilities to lead full and fulfilling lives.

Keystone will pick up where traditional funding from governments and agencies leave off, by providing funding for the important extras, that make living and working with a disability easier.

If “responsibility is the price of freedom”, it is also its ultimate reward. Responsibility is something denied to those who are dependent on others. In the eyes of a disabled person, to be responsible for oneself is an object of desire … a tempting fruit that is just out of reach.
