Sistering has been supporting homeless, underhoused and low-income
women in the Toronto community since 1981.

meeting the complex needs of Toronto's large street youth
population.

Progressive Housing Society is a not-for-profit, charitable society
located in Burnaby, B.C. Originally called the Burnaby Association
for the Emotionally Disabled, Progressive Housing Society has been
providing affordable housing and support services for adults with
mental illness, to enable them to live independently in the
municipality of Burnaby, since 1981.

EcoJustice received our donation for the 2007 tax year.

Ecojustice (formerly Sierra Legal Defence Fund) goes to court to
defend the right of Canadians to a healthy environment. Since 1990,
they have created lasting solutions to Canada's environmental problems
by winning landmark cases and setting powerful precedents. They are
Canada's foremost non-profit organization dedicated to enforcing and
strengthening the laws that safeguard our environment, wildlife and
public health.

Earthroots is a strong advocate for wilderness
preservation in Ontario, combining aggressive grassroots campaign
strategies with excellent research and educational programs. Since
1986, Earthroots has used its grassroots expertise to organize,
educate and mobilize the public, conduct successful media events,
carry out wilderness research projects and ensure proper forest
management planning.
FLAP (Fatal Light Awareness Program):

FLAP works to safeguard migratory birds in the urban environment
through education, research, rescue and rehabilitation. As
stated on their website, collisions with human-built structures is
steadily becoming the leading cause of bird mortality across North
America.
